SAMSONSamson’s Mission

The last sentence in Judges 13:5 tells of Samson’s mission. This was God’s plan for his life: “And he shall …………………”

Notice that it says “begin.” What Samson began, David and others would continue. Remember Goliath was a Philistine. Although Samson had certain weaknesses and failures in his life,  did he really fulfilled this mission and purpose which God had for him. It is interesting that he always met the Philistines by himself. He never gathered an army. God made this man a one-man army!

God’s blessing was on Samson from the very beginning (Judges 13:24) and the Spirit of God made him what he was (Judges 13:25).

Can we say Samson fulfilled destiny?

He did fulfill his destiny (prematurely) but I believe he packed up too early. God could have taken him farther and help him accomplish more but because he couldn’t conquer his weaknesses, he couldn’t do all.

Samson didn’t fulfil is purpose. the purpose of God for him is to deliver the isralite from the bondage of philistine. i want us to know that Saul continue from where he stop and then Samson is not doing the will of GOD but his doing his own will.
