Text: 1 John 5:4
“For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.”
How aligned is your thought with the word of God? One of the things the blessed man does according to Psalm 1:2 is that “his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.” Meditation unveils the revelation in God’s word.
Irrespective of what happens around you, what do you see? Victory or defeat? Success or failure? No matter how hard the blows of challenges may be, knowing that you are more than a conqueror helps you to stay in charge and eventually walk out of them as a victor indeed.
Jesus already assured us concerning our challenges to “be of good cheer; I have overcome the world,” Jn 16:33. Remember that whatever you see and go through now has only come to pass; they can only be temporal while what is unseen but you know (including your victory) is eternal (2Cor 4:18).
REFLECTION FOR TODAY:
Living victoriously can only be possible by first thinking victoriously.
I walk in the reality of my victory in Christ in Jesus’ name.
