OUR DAILY REFLECTION

THE POWER OF LOCATION
Text: Genesis 2:8

“And the Lord God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed.”

Among a host of things that determine a man’s fruitfulness, location is core. According to Matt 13:3-8, there was nothing wrong with the seeds but because most of them ended up in the wrong location, their reproductive ability was deterred and they ended up unfruitful.

It is not every negative situation a man experiences that is caused by the devil, many a time, we suffer when we are wrongly positioned. Although, God had appeared and promised Abraham Canaan, for example, but because of the famine that took place, he went down to Egypt where he almost lost his wife if not for God’s intervention (Gen 12:5-17).

Are you currently at your divine location? All of God’s provision for you are tied to your location (1Kg 17:2-6) but when you miss the location, you may end up in lack. Just as a seed needs the right soil to grow, your life as a seed needs the right place to fulfill destiny.

REFLECTION FOR TODAY:
Your life as a seed needs the right place to fulfill destiny.

The exact location where your destiny will find expression and enjoy help, I launch you in there in Jesus’ name.

OUR DAILY REFLECTION

THIS ONE THING
Text: Philippians 3:13

“Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before.”

How many things have you encumbered yourself with that are now slowing you down or drawing you out of the race of life? To help him cope with his assignment and please God, Apostle Paul told us what he did – forgot what’s behind and reaching out to what’s before him.

Having analysed him, Jesus told the young man who asked for what he needed to do to inherit eternal life to do one thing – carry his cross and follow him after distributing all he has to others (Mark 10:17-21).

What’s the one thing you also have to do to remain relevant, connected to God or grow? Do you also have to forget your past, let go of worldly things and cling to the cross, practice complete obedience, or sacrifice comfort? You can prayerfully ask God to show you.

REFLECTION FOR TODAY:
Men of one thing rarely loose sight of where they are going.

Whatever is hindering you from serving God or remain in your calling is uprooted now in Jesus’ name.

OUR DAILY REFLECTION

THE DEVIL’S VISITATION
Text: Genesis 39:5, 7

“And it came to pass from the time that he had made him overseer in his house, and over all that he had, that the Lord blessed the Egyptian’s house for Joseph’s sake; and the blessing of the Lord was upon all that he had in the house, and in the field. And it came to pass after these things, that his master’s wife cast her eyes upon Joseph; and she said, Lie with me.”

Every appearance of the devil is usually motivated by something great he has either seen and trying to steal or coming forth that he wants to try and stop. The truth is when you are ordinary and empty, the devil stands aloof but once he smells something good coming, he shows up.

From today’s reading, have you considered why the devil had to wait until Joseph was promoted before he stirred up that unholy desire in Mrs Potipher? You don’t have to invite the devil before he shows up, the moment he sees or senses something great in you, he comes invitedly.

What are presently going through that seems tough and unable to handle? When you see the trial so high on your side, it is a pointer that something great is about to manifest in you or come your way. So, don’t forget this always: trial time is never the best time to give up.

REFLECTION FOR TODAY:
When you see the trial so high on your side, it is a pointer that something great is about to manifest in you.

I prophesy over your life that grace never to give up before your glory manifests is released upon you now in Jesus’ name.
