Text: Matthew 6:33

“But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.”

How much is your investment in God’s kingdom worth? God does not owe and no matter how big a man’s investment into the Kingdom may be, He is capable of paying back.

John 6:5-13 tells us of a young boy who saw an opportunity to investment into God’s kingdom with his five loaves of bread and two fishes. After he turned all to Jesus to use, it is most likely he went home with the twelve baskets that were left behind. I am of the opinion that he must have begun a bakery business that same day.

How about Peter who let out his ship for Jesus’ use? The result was that a night of toiling without result was overturned with net breaking harvest (Luke 5:4-6). God will never return whatever you give out for His use the same, the return is always bigger and better than its initial state.

God will never return whatever you give out for His use the same.

Lord, help me to partner with You all that I have and all that I am in Jesus’ name.

Text: 3 John 1:2

“Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.”

How often do you engage your mind? The level to which you develop and engage it goes a long way to determine how productive you’ll become in life. Today’s Scripture tells us that there is a direct correlation between our prosperity in life and that of our mind.

Imagine Joseph, how he was able to preserve food items for a whole country so that while others were in famine, Egypt was in plenty (Gen 41:46-49). When Laban would have rendered Jacob empty, it was the productive use of Jacob’s mind that saved him and gave him an overnight wealth (Gen 31:4-10).

You and I can get all we want if only we’ll engage our mind. Where we are stocked in life is the point where we stop engaging our mind. The difference between the successful and the poor is nothing but the productive use of the mind. Even if opportunities are not forthcoming, you can create one by engaging your mind.

Our difference is not in our complexion or sex but our mental engagement.

I am delivered from every mental blockage hindering my productivity in Jesus’ name.

Lying And Crucial Reasons To Stop Lying

Lying: An act of telling a lie, or falsehood. It is a act of one who lies, or a act of a person who keeps low to the ground.

Nowadays lying is a widespread problem of many people. This behavior problem can seriously affect your life. It is easy to lose trust of your friends, dearest and nearest people. Lying can cause very serious mental and life problems. You may come to a standstill and spend years to handle the situation. I think it is much easier to prevent and reduce lying than disentangle the consequences of this behavior. Do not let lying affect your happiness and choices. I will prove that lying is a slow killer of your personality. Moreover, the Bible makes us to understand that GOD hates liars. As a believers we now that lying is a sin, yet so many people are under the bondage of the spirit of lies. The Bible recorded that GOD hates liars. This is to let you know that no matter what form it may take or regardless of the adjective a liar gives to his or her act of lying (white lies, black lies, small lies, etc), all lies are sin ad GOD hates those who indulge in it.

Looking at what the Bible says about liars:

These six things the Lord hates, Yes, seven are an abomination to Him: A proud look, A lying tongue, Hands that shed innocent blood, A heart that devises wicked plans, Feet that are swift in running to evil, A false witness who speaks lies, And one who sows discord among brethren.- Proverbs 6:16‭-‬19 NKJV

Lying lips are an abomination to the Lord , But those who deal truthfully are His delight.
– Proverbs 12:22 NKJV

But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.”
Revelation 21:8 NKJV
